Audi, the upscale brand owned by Volkswagen, has developed several models using hybrid technology. The company has not yet made a decision to produce or market the Q5 or Q7 hybrid models in North America. Both Audi and Volkswagen are planning to first substantially expand their diesel engine options in both Canada and the US before making a decision to roll out hybrid models.
