Welcome to HybridExperience

Many consumers and organizations are seeking ways to reduce their environmental footprint. One relatively new technology, hybrid electric vehicles, offers a technology based solution to reducing fuel consumption, carbon emissions and smog.

The Hybrid Experience Report is a program of the Fraser Basin Council, an independent non-profit organization headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Council manages a number of programs under an umbrella name of GreenFleets BC. A goal of these programs is to provide accurate information about real world performance of fuel efficient technologies, widely share this information and encourage their adoption.

Hybrid Experience Report
This report provides information on the following issues:

  • How well do hybrids actually perform in all weather applications?
  • How reliable is hybrid technology?
  • How cost effective is hybrid technology?
  • What incentives exist to purchase a hybrid?
